Particular "clouds" disapear near camera, nothing works

Hi guys, after 2 days of looking on the internet, I still havent found a solution. I have a "pritty" realistic scene. The problem is that I added some clouds with Particular.

When the camera goes through the clouds, they pop-off (disapear) from the screen instead of gently fading out. This makes the whole look unrealistic.

Could someone help me out on how to solve this? I tried playing with the vanish settings but they dont make any difference unfortunately.

You can download my project here, in case you want to check it out.

I checked your project and it is kind of a mess. You have no camera and none of the Particular layers have settings that make any sense. You should spend some time learning about AE's camera and Particular at the Reg Giant site.

Yeah, its my first ever thing I made. Followed this tutorial, the dude didnt used a camera either and his clouds were fine

But seeing as I am learning AE I didnt know that it "should be" an requirement.

Anyways, thank you very much for your answer Rick, I will most definately look into the AE camera and Red Giant website this weekend!

You really have to be careful about which tutorials you follow. Most of the ones put up in the last few years have been presented by well-meaning amateurs that don't really know what they are doing. There are a lot of inefficient and dead-end workflows being pitched. For 3rd party effects like Particular, take a look at the manufacturer's website first. At least they know their products. Don't trust any tutorial until you vet the author. Make sure they know what they are talking about.
