Path cap angle (feature request)

I’m currently working on a project where animating they logo for my client would be really simple. One path for each letter in their name. How at the ends of the letters there are angles.

My reqest is to have an additional setting along side cap type in the stroke parameters in shape layers. One that adjusts the angle at the ends on a path. So that it’s not always a perpendicular 90° angle to the path. Idealy you would have two settings. One for the start and one for the end of the path.

Also, if this could be incorporated to Illustrator that would be GREEAAAaaaaattttttttt.
