Subject: PC Freezing/Blank Screen with Beeps During Adobe Use? Let's Troubleshoot!

Hey everyone,

I've been experiencing a frustrating issue with my PC lately, and I'm hoping some of you might have some insights. Whenever I'm using Adobe software (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc.), my screen suddenly goes blank, I hear a series of beeps, and the system completely freezes. This happens intermittently, but it's becoming increasingly frequent and disrupting my workflow.

Here's a breakdown of what I'm experiencing:

  • Symptoms:
    • Sudden blank screen (no display).
    • Audible beep codes (3 beep sound coming).
    • Complete system freeze (no response to keyboard or mouse).
    • This issue primarily occurs while using resource-intensive Adobe applications.
  • What I've Already Tried:
    • Basic Checks: I've made sure all cables are securely connected.
    • Overheating: I have checked for dust buildup and cleaned out my pc. I have also monitored my temperatures, and they seem normal, but I will monitor them more closely.
    • Restarting: Obviously, I've tried restarting my computer, but the problem returns.
    • Adobe Reinstall: I have reinstalled the adobe suite.
    • OS : installed fresh OS windows 11 twice
  • System Specs:
    • Operating System: [Windows 11]
    • CPU: [AMD Ryzen 5 3600X]
    • GPU: [NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060]
    • RAM: [64GB DDR4 3600mhz]
    • Adobe software versions. [Photoshop 2025, Premiere pro 2025, etc.]

Here are some questions I have:

  • Has anyone else experienced similar issues with Adobe software?
  • What do the beep codes indicate?
  • Are there any specific troubleshooting steps I should take, considering my system specs?
  • What software can I use to accurately diagnose GPU and RAM issues?
  • Would faulty drivers cause this particular issue?

I'm open to any and all suggestions. I'm eager to get this resolved so I can get back to my work.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Sudheer,

I understand how frustrating it can be. Are you hearing three beeps from your motherboard? If so, it could be a hardware-related issue: https://adobe.ly/3XfE5rW

Before trying other steps, I recommend updating your GPU driver, as outdated drivers can cause compatibility issues with Adobe software. If the problem persists, you might want to check your hardware.

I hope this helps! If anyone has additional suggestions or solutions, please feel free to share. Moving the thread from Bugs to Discussions for troubleshooting.

Thanks,
Nishu
