Performance Problems After Effects

Hi. My system:
GeForce RTX 2080 Super
AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 16-Core Processor 3.5 GHz
64 GB RAM
SSD 

I bought a Slideshow from videohive, imported the Project and would to work with it, but its credible slowly...

I setup the disk cache and everything i can do.. But the pre-rendering with low resolution and also the scrolling in the composition view is slowed down. are there any hints to speed it up? 
I also looked up youtube and many posts, but cant find the solution for it..

 

hope someone can help me!!

Does the Slide show 3D motion...if yes enable draft 3d to have smooth playback (in case it uses cinema 4d render then change the quality of render from composition settings towards draft). 

If it does not use 3D layers then I would recommend setting the resolution to Auto and Enabling Adaptive Resolution in the composition panel. 

 

 

if nothing works then try changing the project settings > video rendering and effects to use Mercury software only. if it works fine then it would be an issue of your GPU or GPU drivers to render and playback in AE.
