Pg up/down keyboard shortcut not working in after effects

Even after reinstalling after effects, clearing my settings and cache, and plus resetting the settings to the default settings my move forward/backwards keyboard shortcut(pg up/down) still is not working. Is there anyway to fix this?

Start by checking the notebook's key mapping. I'm pretty sure these keys have been mapped to some other function like changing the volume or switching screens. Do you see any response to the keys at all, including outside AE?

Without any system information and potentially other relevant info like your keyboard and language settings we can't tell you anything. Just saying that it doesn't work is not in any way useful.

Well what more info is needed? Im working on a windows Asus Proart Studiobook laptop, all the other shortcuts are seemingly working, and clearly my language settings is in english for my keyboard so I dont understand what you mean. Is there anything more specific you need to help you help me?
