Playback not working, Media Disk Cache (seperate hard drive)

It's been working fine before, but I think I messed up something after I cleared the media cache files from within the program, since it kept jumping frames (despite the preview thing at the top being green).

I've allocated my media cache onto a seperate SSD (2TB total, but allowed 200GB for AE to use to store cache on). But for some reason it keeps having the 'Cached Preview Needs 2 or More Frames to Playback' error, even if I'm in a completley empty project. My PC specs are

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8265U CPU @ 1.60GHz 1.80 GHz

Installed RAM: 8.00 GB (7.82 GB usable)

with a 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor. It's Windows 10 Edu. Don't know if that's relevant or not, but I'm not sure, since everything was working fine before, so I probably messed up with the files, does anybody know how to reset it at least?

Update: It seems reinstalling and updating it to the latest version has worked. It's a little bit annoying though since I have to manually move some of my old presets, but apart from that, the program is running better then before 🙂 !!

Hi, I've tried every single suggestion I've found online to the "Needs 2 frames issue". Nothing works. Any new ideas or developments? I have a project I have to finish. Thanks.

I'll attempt to re-install the program entirely because I don't know what to do
