Pls. Fix: After Effects can't be hidden on OSX during rendering

After Effects can't be hidden on OSX during rendering, especially on my second monitor. During render sessions i can't get to any window in other apps on my 2nd. screen.

Also with the program switcher (cmd + Tab) most of the time it switches only one monitor.
Would be extremely cool if this could be fixed.

best

Thanks for writing in, Christof.

Are you using a custom workspace? If so, can you try testing with the default one? If that doesn't bring any change, try running After Effects in Safe Mode. Here's how: https://adobe.ly/3IdFMBX

Let me know.

Thanks,

Hi!

Thanks for your suggestion and sorry for the late reply.
Yes, I use custom workspaces. Using the default one wouldn't make any problems bc. it covers just the main monitor and the problem occurs only at my second monitor. Lately it worked again, so  can't replicate it constantly; it just happens from time to time. (I mean the one where can't be hidden during rendering)

I fiddled around in some of apples spaces and mission control settings (although I don't use spaces). So for the moment it seems to work again, although I could'nt say wich setting caused the/solved the problem.
