Question

png images are getting weird background in after effect

I rendered my clip in aftereffects, and all the PNG images were getting wired background even though the images were transparent. For example in the picture below the mouse pointer is a PNG transparent image but it's getting a pink background.

Thanks for sharing the screenshots. Are you using an Nvidia GPU? If so, what's the version of the GPU driver is installed? I have seen some report of similar glitches in Premiere Pro with the latest and previous version of Nvidia drivers. You can downgrade it and see if that brings any change.

I would like to test the issue with the PNG. Does it happen with all the PNG files or a particular one? What are your export settings? Try running After Effects in Safe Mode and test on a new project.

Let us know how it goes. Moving this thread from Bugs to Discussions for troubleshooting.

Thanks,
Nishu

If the artwork is transparent, it should be exported correctly as PNG,

you may try the following workarounds:

- clearing memory and disk cache before

exporting

- copy the artwork into a new compaition

- export using media encoder
