position in 3D and 3d layer

Hello,

 

I make one layer 3D in AE. I rotate the layer. then I wanna move its position in X axis using 'Position' properties. No way I can move it the way I want, it gets distorted.

 

Can I not apply position property (X,Y axis)  to such layer which I already rotated or moved after making it 3D?

You are making a mess of things by using the orientation, not the actual rotation properties. Adjust your workflow suitably and things will work as expected.
