Preview em mp4 travando na timeline

Ao editar um projeto, notei que o vídeo no formato mp4, está falhando (travando) na timeline e ao exportar o problema continua.  realizei vários procedimentos e nada adiantou, o que pode ser?

What's happening exactly? Does the preview/export freeze? Are there any glitches? Does it happen with a particular MP4 file or all of them? Please share a screenshot or screen recording that shows the problem. Also, please share your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS).

Without any info about your system, your project, the files' specifications, settings for hardware acceleration and so on we can't really tell you anything. You need to be much more specific From the MP4s simply being "bad" files not compliant with standards to hardware acceleration problems with decoding this could be anything.
