Preview goes black screen regardless of shortcut chosen

AE 23.5, Mac OS Ventura, Mac Studio M1 Ultra, 64GB

So when I press spacebar to review my Mocha AE tracking work back in AE timeline, the screen plays black. No matter what.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for writing in.

Could you share more details?

Do you see the preview when you're not playing back or when you drag the playhead with the mouse?

What are the details of the footage (frame rate, frame size, format/codec)?

Could you try disabling Multi-Frame Rendering in After Effects Preferences > Memory & Performance?

Additiona:

I can view the work in AE by pressing SHIFT-spacebar. But that's not what I asked for in the Preview Panel. We have an untested BUG.
