Preview not working on different screen

I started a project on a extra screen, the preview is working as it should. But when i move my project to the screen on my laptop, the preview freezes. In the info you can see the colors when the mouse is moving over the preview, i just can't see it. If i move the project back to the extra screen, it works again. I tried everything, even uninstalling and reinstalling after effects to my laptop, without succes. Does somebody have an anser?

Hi Kim,

Thanks for writing in. What's the version of After Effects and what are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)? Does After Effects crash? If so, are there any crash reports? First thing to try is to update the GPU driver.

Hi Nishu,

I'm working in AE 2025 on a windows 11, 16gb RAM. There aren't any crashes or crash reports. I tried updating the GPU driver without succes.

Everything else is working (i can even move layers, I checked that by moving de app from working to not working screen) I just can't see what i'm doing.
