Question

Preview quality is not global anylonger.

Hello everyone.

I have a problem with AFTER EFFECTS program. I have the latest version.

 

Problem description:

When I change the preview quality, for example from FULL to 1/4, it only changes the quality in the composition where I change the preview quality. When I switch to another composition within the same project, the preview quality is still FULL.

 

This is inconvenient because when I have 30 compositions in a project, to change the preview quality, I have to go into each composition separately and change the preview quality in each composition individually.

 

I want to click once - and get the preview qyality in the entire project changed.

This problem has been occurring for a week. How can I fix it?

Hi,

 

It sounds like you have the "Separate Views" option enabled in the Preview panel. This option allows you to set different preview settings for each composition.
To change the preview quality for all compositions in your project at once, you will need to disable this option.

Here's how to disable the "Separate Views" option:

1.Open the Preview panel in After Effects.

2.Look for the button labeled "Separate Views" at the bottom of the panel. It should be next to the buttons for changing the preview quality.

3.Click on the "Separate Views" button to disable it. When this button is disabled, changes to the preview settings will apply to all compositions in the project.

Once you have disabled the "Separate Views" option, you should be able to change the preview quality for all compositions in your project at once. I hope this helps!

I just reinstalled AE and deleted all previous settings, but this problem has not disappeared.

Is there anyone who has the expertise or knowledge to help me with this issue? I have already asked for help, and I was trying to find the solution myself as well, but I still can't find the answer.

This makes my work really, really difficult.
