Preview requires rebooting the software

Hello community,

I recently changed my computer, and here is a new problem that I never had before : if I leave my work a bit more than 30min, when I come back, the preview doesn't work anymore. If will apparently load and calculate, but won't start and show me the result of the preview on the screen.

The only way to get the software to actually do the preview is to reboot the software. It never happened before and I don't see what it has to do with me leaving the computer a couple of minutes.

Any idea how to solve this?

    Hello,

    I guess some programs keep running in the background. Would you set the live update option off on the timeline?

    In AE's Preferences, goto the Video Preview option to enable "Disable Video Output When in the Background" option. Hopefully this helps. Additionally, you will want to ensure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card (GPU).
