Preview Screen Missing

Does anyone know the problem here? The preview screen isn't black, it's just gone. This happened after I updated my computer and when I opened After Effects, "it was initializing GPU," but then when it was finished the preview screen was just gone. It also doesn't interfere with rendering at all, and projects still render normally with the full video.

Im not the OP but I'd like to ask, if the drivers have been recently updated and it still doesnt work is there another way to go around this? Because Im starting to see that this is a Adobe Issue rather than my system 😭

You mentioned that you reset the workspace, did you Reset the preferences settings ?

Launch After Effects and then immediately hold Cmd–Shift–Option (Mac) or Ctrl–Shift–Alt (Windows) until the reset preferences dialog appears. click ok

Solutions I've tried: Clearing Disk Cache,  Resetting the workspace, restarting the application, restarting my computer

None of them have worked at all. I don't think it has to do with memory either, as it renders fairly quickly and my computer has 32 GB, which should be enough.

Yeah at the moment I'm also having the same issue as your as well ( a few other people too ) the only work around until they fix this is by using another monitor/screen and using the program on that screen. Idk why it works but it just does.
