Previewing 2D Concert Video on Multiple Screens

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to create video content for a few events using multiple LED screens on a large stage.

Basically is there a way that I can create my entire flat video file and then preview it on say a 3D model of the stage with all of the screen destinations at the correct resolution on each of them? All of this within AE?

Instead of guessing and checking each export I'm just trying to make sure that the file will be exactly what I need for the LED wall install.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Hi, make individual compositions for each of the 3 screens using their individual pixel counts. Then take your flat video file into each comp (it will be too long but the right height) and then slide/position them on the X into the correct position (you should be able to make it pixel perfect).

Make another composition the same size as your flat video comp and add the 3 screen comps. Slide them so they are side by side and check that they are perfectly matched. (If there are gaps between the screens make allowance in the composition size).

Convert the screen precomps to 3D and position them at the correct angles, add a camera and you can move around.

If you are outputting each screen as a separate file then they are now set up to render.

Is that what you needed?
