Problem with After Effects

Hi,

I have a problem in After Effects and I do not know how to solve it.

See the video

I have a Dell notebook Inspiron 15 7000 Series 7559 GeForce GTX 960M.
I've done everything. I installed updated drivers from Dell. But it did not.

Help.

Hi Printzap,

I've noticed that bug still shows up relative to certain Display Scaling percentages in your Windows Display settings (specifically on high resolution monitors like 4k etc...) I still live with this on my 4k monitor at work @ 138%, but my home box has 100% scaling and no timeline display glitches. Maybe try a slightly different display scaling in windows and reboot?

After a few days of the problem, was there any update in After Effects?

OPen your CC app, click the menu at top right and click "check for updates"  Or click updates from the help menu inside After Effects.

This is how you can find out for yourself whether or not there are any updates for After Effects.

How can I finally solve my problem?

It's a bug with your system. If driver updates do not fix it and upgrading AE doesn't fix it then there is no current fix for your particular system. Like I said before, this was a bug in a previous version. You are the only one I have seen that has posted that the bug still exists with your system. You could try uninstalling AE from the CC app and reinstall the latest build also from the CC app, but that's about the only thing I can suggest.

Rick I already did this procedure and it did not solve. I already posted in the Nvidia forum and I did not receive an answer. I will wait and hope that some correction corrects my problem. Thanks

Please clean your disk cache by going to the top of the interface and going to After Effects (mac) or Edit (windows) /preferences/M

edia/disk cache. Then cpress The clean the cache button.

then restart AE. If that doesn’t solve it you may want to try resetting preferences.

  1. Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS) while the application is starting.
  2. A dialog box launches asking you if you want to delete your preferences file. ...
  3. To also restore default keyboard shortcuts, Alt-click (Windows) or Option-click (Mac OS) the OK button.

Try updating your graphics drivers. If that doesn't work, roll them back.

This was a common bug that has been fixed with an update. Make sure that your version of AE is up to date. If that does not solve the problem let us know.
