problem with After Effects RGB

Search for some tutorials on "Color Matching" for After Effects.  There's quite a few out there that offer different options. There isn't a single solution / one-button option - quite often this comes down to what feels right.

You need to study up on color management and how this stuff works, not just in AE but also quite generally. Start by reading the online help. Anything beyond that would require much more info about your current color settings, footgae interpretation, fottage types and whatnot, none of which you have provided.
