Problem With AfterEffects/PrPro , PLEASE HELP !

Hi everyone, hope you're all doing well

So I'm new to using AE and have been watching some tutorials to learn effects for a music video im working on. I click "Replace w/ AE Composition" in premiere to open my clip in AE. I start roto-scoping my subject and am able to toggle transparency once im finished rotoscoping. But anything i do after that does not show in AE for me, I have to go to Premiere to see any changes im making in AE. All the changes are being made with no issue its just annoying having to switch back to Premiere to actually see my progress. Its weird not sure why this is happening. I attached a screenshot so you guys can see what i mean. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
