Problem with brush setting

Hi, i have a problem. I used brush just alright but at some point i couldn't put any settings for brush, i click to set the size, type of brush and then click to draw and it draws without settings at all (that i put). What to do?

Without any system info and details about your project we can't really tell you much, but most likely this is eitehr a hardware acceleration problem or you simply have way too many brush strokes on your layer. in the latter case split up the layers and pre-compose and apply the brush stuff individually. In the former case of course check the relevant settings in AE and update your system's graphics driver.
