Problem with the magic bullet plugin’s installation

When im downloading the mbl plugin it keeps on showing -> Installation Failed The following error occured during installation: Unknown exception is there any fix to that?

Are you using compatible versions of AE and MBL? 

Have you tried contacting RedGiant support to see if this is an issue on their end?

Maxon has an installation manager application that handles the installation of Maxon Red Giant Magic Bullet.  It is similar to how Creative Cloud Desktop handles installing Adobe applications.

After Effects 2020 might not be enough. Go to Help > About After Effects and share a screenshot. You will see the detailed version of the app like 17.x.x.
