problems with tutorials

Hi, I am glad to be part of this community and to have friends who enjoy creating in adobe. I need help to know what is happenning with these two tutorials.

This is what i made for the roll and rig animation, but i have an error, i named incorrectly my variable. My animatino is not the same. I want to do more complexe graphic like a paper with a texture, to do that i know i have to do a precomposition.

Next, I tried to do this tutorial called the feather but the script cc for ae called Buik Bessel did not work, so i guess i skipped some instruction about how to activate it. I fix my delay I used the normal puppet tool but the image was disturbed, can you explained what was wrong with installation or with the skeleton and option elbows?

Ideally the tutoria creator would have provided the code alongside the video, but I think it's just a case of not being able to make out the brackets used. It should be ([ ]) and not ({})
