What is in the composition panel should appear in the upper left corner. Some times it is not appearing. What is the reason?

Just happens. Sometimes the composition thumbnail will only update if you actually work in the comp and the cache state changes. It's one of those oddities that has existed forever in AE and nothing to worry. E.g. projects created with a previous version of AE also won't immediately generate thumbnails when opened in a newer version.
