Prores 4444 with alpha fails to import

Question

After Effects does not import all ProRes 4444 with alpha rendered bij Cinema 4D.

Some files do import, while others give a permission error (while permissions are like any other file).

Meanwhile, these files play perfectly in Quicktime Player and Elmedia Player.

Without exact system info and render settings we can't realyl gauge this. If some files import, then there must be a difference somewhere. That said, I've never considered it a good idea to render directly to clip-based formats. If your render crashes in the middle of the night it's all lost because the file is damaged. You may want to consider using image sequences.
