Puppet Pin Stops Preview

I was animating some hair with the puppet pin tool and i decided to try out the effect wave warp along with the pin animation. But when I did the playback stopped working, it froze in the frame that it was before i added the wave warp, I ctrl+z out of that mess and that did fix it, later on I had to purge my cache when i did, the issue with the preview came back and now it won't render a single frame.

It keeps showing the error: "Cached preview needs more than 2 frames to playback" however when I scrub trough the timeline I can see the "wireframe" of the objects moving.

Stuff I tried already:

Change the engine mode to legacy and back to advanced;

Restart Ae;

Restart computer;

Try it on another computer;

Restart that other computer;

Change the engine mode to legacy and back to advanced on the other computer;
