Quadro K4200 + Trapcode Form + RedGiant

Hi.

I'm running AE and my instance of Form isn't updating even when I set new keyframes.

I have updated all of my drivers and plugins and still no change.

I have to purge the cache every time in order for any changes to be seen.

Even if I restart the computer, the last ram preview shows up.

Intel Xeon 2.4GHz (8 cores)

Quadro K4200 graphics card

64 GB of RAM

I have also tried to export a sequence with Denoiser 3 in it and it crapped out every time.

After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Media Encoder.

Is the Quadro K4200 not a good card for Adobe?

I'm usually on a Mac, but I'm onsite and the client is on a Dell PC.

I have not used a PC since my Gateway in 1999.

Also, they are going to order a new PC in the coming weeks and I wanted to see what the best GFX card would be.

I have read pros and cons to the Quadro series and the 1080s.

Does anyone have opinions on this?

Would primarily be using the machine for After Effects and editing in PPro.

Thanks in advance, hive mind!

My current gig ended up ordering a P5000.

I'm usually on a Mac, but they are on PC.

Everything is little less "snappy" on a PC so far.

Thanks for your input.

Hello,

I would say any CUDA supporting cards are fine. The benchmark web site is a good reference for choice.
