Question about CC cylinder

Hi, when using CC cyclinder is there a way to connect the two compositions togther? (See picture attached) I want to create one endless spiral that rotates. Thank you.

You have to stack up copies of the angled text layer, offset the rotation by 180º on some of the copies, and set some copies to render outside and others to render inside. It's easiest if you tie the animated properties together with expressions. Something like this:

No. Effects aren't truly 3D and don't share the same space. Whatever you want to create will have to be carefully faked by using multiple layers and masking them out in conjunction with using the inside/ outsidreoptions in the effect, meaning you likely need four layers at least or even more.
