Question about parent/child transitions

Hoping you can help. I have a comp I am making changes to. A template that I purchased. There is a parent applied to the comp called "MOVE" that has transitions that I need to adjust. But the only "MOVE" element I can find is a solid. I can't find any comps with it in a layer that has transitions applied. Just the solid that I can't change anything but the size and color. How do I adjust these transitions? Thanks in advance.

Without even a link to the template we can't tell you anything. You have to provide a screenshot of the timeline and all that or show us the flow chart as Rick mentioned. That said, there's a chance the layers are simply hidden with the shy guy, a common "trick" for templates to hide timeline clutter. Anyway, it's all too obvious that you are not even aware of these basics, so I strongly recommend reading the online help before venturing further and getting even more confused.

Start by looking at the main comp's flowchart. Expand that, and you will find every nested comp, every layer, and every effect. Double-clicking on a layer or an effect in a flowchart will open that comp and select the layer.
