Question regarding a specific text animation

Hello, I have a question about a text animation/reveal, as can be seen in the video here: https://videohive.net/item/old-text-animated-page-of-alchemical-manuscript/13988790 Does anyone know which text animation exactly that is, or is it in the effect presets in After Effects?

This could be as trivial as animating a Simple choker/ Matt Choker or Roughen Edges effect's parameters, assuming the text is its separate layer, give or take a bit of masking or a simple wipe to give it some directional flow. For the exact procedures you would have to inquire with the creator, but this doesn't realyl seem any more complicated than what I said.
