Re: External hard drive to make AE faster / more efficient?

Dude I have a M2 Macbook 64 gb ram and ae caches so slowly I am considering self harm.  Went out got 2 nvme drives, one for media the better one for caching.  It is even worse.  I can do my work.  Installed reinstalled all that stuff, and it has been ongoing for a long time.  I have managed by other means but I am tired of it.  So what are good affordable alternatives to this adobe nonsense.
