Really weird rendering problem

I really don't know how to describe it shortly. So when I rendered my animation in full res, I noticed a mistake- my character that is supposed to blink several times is rendered with eyes closed till the end of the composition. I thought that I probably made a mistake and went back to the composition to check the keyframe(s), but the keyframes are ok, as they should be. Layers are ok. Even more weird: the animation looks ok, as it should look (chatracter blinking) at the preview and when I render in half res. I have emptied the cash and tried rendering again, but the same problem: she (my character) is not opening her eye. The rest of the video is ok. This is the first time I ever encountered this problem and I also have no clue how to name it and search for solution

Impossible to know much without exact system info, render settings and so on, but based on your description it likely boils down to simple GPU acceleration failures. That's why it works at lower resolutions, but fails at full res when you exhaust your hardware acceleration. As to why and what of course remains unclear, but at least try to render in software-only mode.

You might want to try rendering out in Media Encoder. Maybe there's a setting you have in AE's rendering that you've changed and don't realize.
