Remove particle fade-in effect CC particle World

I use cc particle world and a custom image to generate particles. The particles fades in during birth. I want them to appear solid right away. How?

chat bots tell me there is an opacity map with a graph I can draw on. But I cannot find this map.

The red line is where that map is supposed to be. It is not there.

So how do I disable the particles fade in?
