removing banding due to LED lights?

got some banding in my footage which i did not notice when i was shooting.

i think it was caused by the lights in the venue , they were dimmable lights which may be LED based,  i had problems elsewhere in the venue with other lights, for which no shutter speed seemed to get rid of,   at least in the other part of the venue i was able to pre-empt the problem, and use my own video lights to light the scene.

in this case however i didnt even notice these tiny bands in the frame until i got home to my computer.  im wondering how to reduce or get rid of them.

any ideas?

    That's a tough problem to solve in post even by using DeFlicker because not only is the intensity changing, so is the color. LED dimmers that use frequency amplitude (consumer dimmers) instead of voltage give the illusion of dimming the led by rapidly switching it on and off instead of changing the output. Sometimes the AC to DC converter required to power LED's also use switching tech to drop the voltage instead of true voltage reduction and conversion to DC. Either of these solutions will put bands in footage shot with any camera that has a rolling shutter. Changing shutter speed won't eliminate the banding unless you go below about a quarter second or have a global shutter or are shooting film because the scan rate of an image sensor is pretty constant. There is nothing that comes with AE that will do a professional job of fixing this kind of problem unless it is extremely subtle.
