Render crash "The system detected an overrun of a stack-based buffer in this application."

I had the same error when I switched my Hardrive SSD into a new laptop, my old laptop ran Nvidia and my new laptop ran AMD. I uninstalled the Nvidia drivers and it fixed my problem and opened up properly. Hope this helps someone.

It could be the media or effects applied. Try disabling the effects. If that doesn't help, try replacing the media.

What happens if you try using Media Encoder? Does Media Encoder crash too? Also, try disabling Multi-Frame rendering (After Effects Preferences > Memory & Performance).
