Render engine node - Not working with .txt file

Hi,

I just contacting support but they forwarded me to place my question in the adobe forum.

I tried to follow these steps to add some computers as render notes. But Ae always starts with the creative cloud login screen. It is not reading the ae_render_only_node.txt  I think. I'm using windows 8.1 and the latest CC version.

Got it to work, double extension because it was hidden.

Have the same problem. But what means "double extension because it was hidden."? Did you "ae_render_only_mode.txt.txt" . Thats not my problem.

 

BTW it worked before, and from, now to then it doesnt...
