Render fails just when the glow effect of a layer "starts" (goes from 0 to 100% opacity)

Hi!

I have an issue with a project I'm trying to render. Everything renders ok until I turn on the glow effect of a layer. I haven't had any issues with the glow effect until now and have already tried to render it in many different codecs (apple pro res, h.264, as a png sequence, uncompressed) but the result is the same. Anyone have any idea of what could be happening? I can imagine ways to make something that looks kind of the same without the glow effect but It's bothering me to not know what is the problem here.

I have attached a screen capture of the issue as it happens.

Thanks a lot!

The Glow effect is GPU accelerated in AE CC (since the April 2018 release). So ... there could be an issue with your GPU and AE.

Try disabling GPU effects acceleration in the Project Settings Window - then let us know if this solves your issue. Either way, let us know more about your System, version of AE and what other effects are being used together with the Glow effect.

What's your AE version, OS and general PC specs?

Does this happen, when you create a new project with only one comp, one layer and glow effect?

Does this happen, when you use Media Encoder for rendering?

And the trivial ones: AE restarted - HDD cache cleared - full reboot?
