Hi there!

I've being having an issue with the media encoder and I really do not know what to do.

Every time I try to use the wiggle effect (any of the ones "position", "rotation"...) on one of my layers of the after effects project, once I export to media encoder and render it, it DISAPPEARS, as if I had never aplied it.

WHAT CAN I DO???

  1. Make sure you finalize your compositions in AE by using only the Active Camera view. That is the only view that will render.
  2. Unless you are an expert in video formats and compression settings use one of the Presets in the AME that matches your projects frame size
  3. If all that fails we need a detailed description of the workflow, comp, and render settings, and a screenshot of the comp that has the problem with all modified properties of the layer that is having problems revealed. Just select the layer, press UU to reveal everything that has been changed on that layer, PrintScreen and Paste (Ctrl/Cmnd + v) to the forum and then please choose the largest preview size so we can see what is going on. There is a very high probability that it is user error.

I've been rendering with active camera view and using one of the presets of Media Encoder! I just did a test here with a simple square shape with the wiggle-position effect aplied.

Have you tried purging your cache before sending to AME?

Edit > Purge > All Memory and Disk Cache

I've seen this once or twice before, but I think it was always a cache issue.
