rendering crash

Question

So I have ae 2023 and im using a MacBook Pro and while I was rendering my edit the "90%" froze and. I tried to exit out of ae and tried restall it but I couldn't get out of the app and I tried to "quit" after effects and it still doesn't work I also kinda had this issue yesterday but now i tried to restart my MacBook and it says I need to "exit out of after effects" in order to restart but I still can't get out of after effects thank u!

Kill the process(es) in your Activity Monitor. The rest we can't really know. You have not provided any specific info about your proejct and what is going on it nor any details about your Mac. Based on your screenshot one could simply assume that you are running out of resources on a large file, but that's of course just a guess.
