rendering fails every time i use an in house ae effect. Please help!!

Recently, every time i use an in-house effect like directional blur or transform, during the rendering process it fails completely when it gets to that effect. In the past I've had to replace the effect with another one like it from a plug-in I have. I've also tried to render it using PNG but the exact same thing happens and overall it's just a problem. does anyone know how to fix this??? please feel free to ask questions!

It sounds like a corrupted i stallation. I would be tempted to uninstall and reinstall. Thats assuming you e already tried resetting the preferences?

I've uninstalled and reinstalled it several times and it still happens, I'm not to sure what to do. Do you have any idea what I could do?

Impossible to say. You have not provided any system information or other details liek comp settings or render settings. For what it's worth, those effects are partially hardware-accelerated, so they probably run out of resources or crash due to other hardware functions during preview and rendering coming into play.

Try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site.
