Rendering Issuse

Without exact render settings, system info and details about the project we can't tell you much. Since you use AVIs this could simply indicate an issue with a specific CoDec or the file size being limited.

In addition to what the expert asked, does it happen with multiple projects? Are you using any third-party plug-ins?

If that doesn't help, try exporting the project to a different location.

Have you tried re-rendering?  Does it always fail at the same frames?  What's going on during those frames?  Assets? Effects?
