Rendering = Poor Output File

There used to be a "Make Movie" button in AE for when you've completed your project to save as a movie to be exported how you wanted now there is this thing called "Add to Render Queue" and i do tat and for some reason when I pull it up in the new "movie" format it's like it was saved in a rendering format, and not real-time format. Like the video is choppy (trying to load) and the audio isn't aligned with the video. Is there some way I can fix this?

Thirded. If I had to guess, your file is totally fine, and you're actually rendering to a Lossless format - so it's actually very high quality, but your computer isn't able to keep up with playback.

Try taking your existing export through Adobe Media Encoder. Since you haven't indicated your final use, I'd recommend H264 / Match Source - High Bitrate as a good place to start.

You can also send AE projects directly to AME for export, which is probably the workflow I'd recommend for you in the future. File > Export > Add to Adobe Media Encoder Queue.

Concur with Mylenium.  This sounds like very clearly a lack of knowledge on use of AE but always here to try and assist.  There is a certain expectation that as a new user you get out there and search all of the tutorials you can on things like this.  Read up, study.  It's a huge learning curve.

I'd suggest looking around here for tutorials on best render settings, CODECs, etc.  Or, hit youtube which has no shortage on the subject.

As for the audio not lining up, if it is playing choppy to begin with, that may not be an accurate representation.  If it is truly off, probably some other things to look at.  Ensure frame rates are set properly as well in your comps.

Sure. You read the help and educate yourself about Codecs and how well they may play back. No offense, but your description is a clear indication that you never bothered to properly learn these basics.
