Rendering stopping in render queue

Hi

I'm rendering a 6 minute video in after effects. It's been going on for over 14 hours and stuck on 89% done.

Any suggestions to fix this?

Thanks

My guess would be your cache is full.  Can you pause the render and clear it out.  When I'm doing long sequences like this, I tend to render in Adobe Media Encoder (which makes it easier to clear the cache via AE) and render out as an image sequence so if I am forced to restart the render, I can pick up where I left off.

Hey you can modify your render settings to a lower resolution or use a more efficient codec to reduce the rendering load or

clearing the disk cache can resolve issues related to corrupted cache files. Go to Edit > Purge > All Memory & Disk Cache in After Effects.

Thank you very much for responding, it seems like that was my issue
but I'm going to keep that in mind for the future!

You see Activity Monitor.app to check the load. The cause seems to be out of memory.
