Rendering Time with Audio Visualizer
Trying to make a video with an audio waveform visualizer such as this:

Has worked great, except the rendering time is unbelievably long. It takes about 2 hours for 1 minute of video. I want to try to do this for about 1 hour long audio clip. Any suggestions?
Laptop i7 processor 1.9Ghz (2.4Ghz), 8GB RAM, Win10x64, Nvidia Gforce GT630M, 512GB solid state HDD.
I've tried rendering with Quicktime and H_264.
I'm actually not even sure my video card is being utilized in the processing, can't find much online about how to be sure the hardware is set up properly.
- I tried turning off render preview (pushed caps lock before render queue) but it didn't help much
- I tried holding shift and going to preferences, went down to secret menu, and disabled layer cache and ignore sequence rendering errors. still no difference.
- I tried different video format outputs (quicktime h264, AVI PAL and NTSC, etc.) and it seems to make no difference.
- i turned on classic 3D instead of ray-traced 3D
- I even tried putting the quality down to like 10% and it STILL takes forever! It feels like I'm doing something wrong...
thanks!
