Hi,

i'm tring to render a little work, it is a facebook cover.

Size: 820x312

Duration: 20 seconds

The composition is made up of graphic files, mostly illustrator files, with simple animation.

I choose Quick Time file, with h.264 format. I tried also other format (like QT - animation, or avi), but every time the final file it has low quality.

How can i export without losing quality?

Thanks

Well, your workflow simply doesn't make any sense. FB accepts standard HD files in H.264. There is no reason to even render to a custom size and doing so will only make things worse due to a) FB re-compressing the file on their servers, anyway and b) customizing a render preset in Media Encoder may actually worsen the quality right out of the gate since you mess around with encoding matrices and other geek stuff. Outside those technical facts there's no point obsessing about video quality on social media. unless you are a paying customer who e.g. does video ads, you only have so much control about your stuff and FB et al will do whatever is needed to display it on different devices.
