Replace with after effects composition

Question

Hello!Been scratching my head over this for a while and can't seem to figure out wether its my settings or if something is going on with the software.When selecting all the footage in the premiere timeline (footage, graphic titles & music) and then right clicking to cross reference with AE, I switch over to after effects and my Premiere sequence appears in the timeline except whole sections of the footage is missing and out of place, the graphic titles are also all shuffled about. The edit appears completely differently to how I had arranged it in the original Premiere composition, the Premiere composition after clicking "replace with AE comp" does replace my original Premiere comp with the malfunctioned version that AE created. I haven't applied any effects or touched the timeline in AE, it appears that way directly after import. When I undo the "replace with after effects" action my Premiere comp goes back to normal.Can anyone help me on this? Thanks

first, make sure your Ae is up to date. if it's 15.0 you should be using 15.0.1

second, please explain your workflow - are you trying to get your whole premiere timeline in Ae? two ways to do this:

1. copy paste your sequence to Ae, you will get an Ae composition with all your clips and what not. will some things not cross over properly? perhaps.

2. import your Premiere project to Ae like any other footage. you will get a dynamically linked Pr sequence that will match exactly to your Premiere editing and what not.

what you are describing, when you right click a clip in premiere to create an Ae composition, should be done selectively and carefully. what's the purpose to do this for all your clips?
