reshape issue in ae 2023,

Hi,
In After Effects version 2023, when using the reshape effect (to create a morph between two masks), the morph is not done correctly, as you can see in the image below. In previous versions, this is done well. Is there a solution. Is this a bug?
Explanation, this operation morphs correctly on image layers, but does not work on compositions (with any settings).
Thanks,
Masoud

I am not seeing any problems in AE 23.6 on an M2 Macbook Pro running Ventura 13.5.1

Probably, if the subject is bigger so that it covers the whole composition, a problem will arise.
Also, in your image, with 100% morphing, a little confusion can be seen on the top part of the object

When you say "previous versions", is that AE 2022 or one of the AE 2023 versions? (23.0, 23.1, 23.2, etc.)

Is there a reason you don't have a boundary mask set?

Thanks for your reply.

Yes. The issue is solved by setting a larg boundary mask or using the "Grow bounds" effect before the reshape effect.
This issue (without setting the boundary mask) was observed in v2023.5 and v2022 . But no problem was found in v2019 and earlier versions.

Cheers,

Masoud
