resize compositon from one side

Hello, I am asking for advice on how to cut the canvas (composition) from one side, therefore cropp. I know how to resize the composition, but that way it will be cropped evenly on all sides, which I don't want now. thanks for any reply.

Open the Composition settings (Ctrl/Cmnd + K), pick or set the new size, switch to the Advanced Tab, and choose how the comp is resized. Click OK. All done.
