About 3 days ago I started receiving a message that the MediaCore plugins were not loading. I lost most of my access to After Effects. Today, on a whim, I decided to try something and it has worked perfectly. Quit After EffectsNavigate to Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCoreMove (not copy) the MediaCore folder to your desktopRename to MediaCore_OriginalDuplicate the folder and remove the _Original from the name. Hit Command+Shift+. to show invisible files. In my case, the invisible files did NOT copy from the _Original folder. Move the invisible files to the new folderMove the MediaCore folder back to it's original locationStart up AfterEffects. Hope this works for others. It was a nightmare for me.

Quit After Effects
Navigate to Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore
Move (not copy) the MediaCore folder to your desktop
Rename to MediaCore_Original
Duplicate the folder and remove the _Original from the name.
Hit Command+Shift+. to show invisible files. In my case, the invisible files did NOT copy from the _Original folder.
Move the invisible files to the new folder
Move the MediaCore folder back to it's original location
Start up AfterEffects.

Hope this works for others. It was a nightmare for me.
