Rotate Text Horizontally Along A Path?

Question

I made new Text layer 3D. I crated a mask on the layer and linked the text tomasks path. So I can rotate the text along the path using the First Margin control. I want to rotate the text axis horizontally rather than vertically, but I cannot figure out how to [maybe] parent the 3D Text layer to a 3D Null object and then rotate the axis. The attachment shows the verticle axis I stuck in.

I'm sure somebody figured this out long ago. Please help! Thanks in advance!

Not possible. AE's inconsistent 3D doesn't allow it. You could enable per character 3D without using the mask path, but once you use the mask, the magic is gone again. You have to think of other ways like building the scene in Cinema 4D.
