rotation around a circle

i'm trying rotate the third line around that fourth circle. i thought it was as easy as just using repeater and making some rotation keyframes. at first i was able to make the lines repeat around the circle, but it was rotating like an oval and not a circle. now it's rotating around a different point. 

the goal is to have the line repeat around the fourth circle, rotate for a second or so, and then close to the one line again.

You need to adjust the correct anchor point for the shape so that it is in the center of rotation. 

 

I'm not seeing enough of the modified properties (press 'uu') on your shape layer, so I can't see exactly what you are doing. I'm also not sure what you are trying to accomplish. The only thing I see is layer rotation.

i figured out what i was doing wrong for part of it. this is what i have and partly what im trying to do. when i try to do a rotation keyframe for it to spin, it will stay as a circle, but then the shape will stretch and turn into an oval.
